STEP 1
Expand the sofa bed and remove the mattress off the sofa bed.
STEP 2
Unpack your SleeperSaver and put it flat on the canvas. The SleeperSaver is NOT supposed to sit on the springs. Hint: "Mattress Facing" indicates which side must face upwards.
STEP 3
Fasten the hook and loop strips on the edges of the board to the frame of the sofa bed. Start at the top and bottom, then both sides.
STEP 4
Place the mattress on top and enjoy enhanced firmness and comfort. Note: When folding up the sofa bed for the first time, do it slowly and ensure that the board is properly folded within the mechanism.

It does a very good job of eliminating the bar feeling on my 4.5 inch memory foam mattress. The sofa bed and mattress are very high quality, yet there was the nagging bar at about hip level that was disconcerting. It really made a difference. The only drawback is that the bed is a bit heavier to pull out and the cushions on the couch are firmer. The couch cushions were more comfortable before. Because I sleep on the couch with regularity it is a good trade-off.
