Our Story
“In 2020, Laura and Ben — a couple of mechanical engineers — were staying at an Airbnb with a sofa so saggy it made them question whether a comfortable couch was even possible anymore. They went looking online for something to fix it. Nothing worked.
So they built one themselves. That prototype became the Meliusly sofa support board — the first product we ever shipped, and still one of our best-sellers today.
Five years later, Meliusly has helped over 500,000 households get more life out of their furniture. The company is now led by Ben alongside a small team. Laura has since stepped back to focus on raising their son, but her engineering fingerprints are on every product we make.
