SlatSure™ Horizontal is designed as a direct replacement for standard wooden bed slats. Measure your existing slats (length and width) to confirm fit before ordering. If you’re unsure, contact us with photos and dimensions and we’ll help confirm.
Factory-original wooden slats often crack, warp, or wear out under the weight of heavy mattresses and regular use. They’re typically the cheapest part of a bed frame. SlatSure Horizontal uses reinforced plywood that’s significantly more durable than factory slats.
Count the number of slats in your existing bed frame. If only some are broken, you can replace those individually. For best support, we recommend replacing all of them at once if any are showing wear — they often fail together. At the moment, we do not offer individual replacement slats.
Yes. Most factory-original slats are made from cheaper, thinner wood. SlatSure Horizontal uses reinforced plywood wrapped in industrial-grade fabric — built to outlast the originals.
Yes. Memory foam mattresses benefit from solid, evenly-spaced slats. If your existing slat spacing is wide (more than 3 inches apart), consider adding a bunkie board on top of the slats to create a continuous flat surface for memory foam.
Every SlatSure Horizontal is backed by our Lifetime Warranty. If it ever fails — cracks, loses structural integrity, or stops performing under normal use — we’ll replace it free. No receipts, no expiration.
We offer a 30-Day Risk-Free Trial. Install the slats, sleep on the bed for up to 30 days, and if they don’t solve the problem, send them back for a full refund. No restocking fees.

Slats are made from laminated layers of wood much like plywood. Each slat is just over 3″ wide and at the described thickness of just over half an inch. Slat spacing is a max of 2″ using the connected webbing. The queen set comes as connected sets of 8 and 7 slats — made installing the whole set more manageable. All slats have a smooth veneer on top and a cushioned covering on the back. Holding in place and quiet — no squeaking. Cloth gloves were included for installation. I was initially hesitant given the price, but these heavy-duty slats appear to be good value.

SlatSure™ Horizontal Bed Slats Guide
These were exactly what the platform needed for better comfort. The platform had a center rail with metal arms that attached to the sides — I ordered these to cross the metal arms. They come in two connected batches and are 1″ plywood sanded on one side and non-slip coated on the other. Added a little height but eliminated all the low spots and provided amazing support to the mattress. Definitely worth it.

SlatSure™ Horizontal Bed Slats Guide
These bed slats are definitely heavy duty! Each slat measures 9/16″ thick and 3⅛″ wide, cut from 9-layer plywood of very good quality. The manufacturer supplies a pair of gloves and a free eye mask. They come preassembled in two sections — took 5 minutes to get them out of the packaging and connect the velcro straps. Narrow spacing for full mattress support without sagging, plus good air circulation. Non-stick rubberized bottom with silicone bumps prevents sliding. Highly recommend for full mattress support without needing a box spring!
